Recent NOMAD results at virtual EPRI Workshop on 14-17 December 2020

Several NOMAD partners were invited by the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) to participate in the virtual workshop on NDE for material characterization which took place on 14-17 December 2020.

The project coordinator, Madalina Rabung (Fraunhofer IZFP), presented the recent NOMAD results on 15 December at 2:30PM (see agenda) focusing on the irradiation of large RPV samples (NOMAD blocks) and the application of NDE methods on such irradiated blocks. Furthermore, she highlighted the advantage of measuring samples before and after irradiation as well as the combination of different NDE methods for material characterization.
